...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT DOUGLAS AND CENTRAL LYON

COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM PDT...



At 924 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8

miles northeast of Wabuska, or 18 miles south of Lahontan Reservoir,

moving southwest at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Yerington, Mason, Wabuska, Weed Heights, Junction Nv 339 And Nv 208,

Artesia Lake, Yerington Municipal Airport, and Smith Valley.
