...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MCCULLOCH AND SAN SABA COUNTIES 

THROUGH 745 PM CDT...



At 646 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Pear Valley, moving east at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Brady, San Saba, Richland Springs, Algerita, Cherokee, Melvin, Brady

Lake, Sloan, Lohn, Waldrip, Calf Creek, Skeeterville, Voca, Chappel,

Elm Grove, Winchell, Camp San Saba, Rochelle, Pear Valley, and Doole.



People attending the football game at Richland Springs Coyote Field 

should seek safe shelter immediately.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead 

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded 

roadways.

west central Texas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in

effect until midnight CDT for west central Texas.
