...STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN CALLAHAN...BROWN AND 

COLEMAN COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...



At 524 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms from 

southern Callahan through southern Coleman counties, moving east at 

35 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Brownwood, Coleman, Early, Santa Anna, Bangs, Cross Plains, Blanket,

Novice, Gouldbusk, Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty, Burkett, May, Cross

Cut, Glen Cove, Zephyr, Brookesmith, Rockwood, Voss, Lake Brownwood

State Park, and Silver Valley.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for

west central Texas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in

effect until midnight CDT for west central Texas.
