...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN RED RIVER

AND CENTRAL MCCURTAIN COUNTIES UNTIL 745 AM CDT...



At 716 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong

thunderstorms extending from 20 miles north of Broken Bow to 9 miles

northwest of Bogata, or extending from 30 miles northwest of De Queen

to 14 miles west of Clarksville, moving southeast at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

  Clarksville, Idabel, Broken Bow, Bogata, Manchester, Bagwell,

  Wright City, Valliant, Detroit, Millerton, Garvin, Farmers Hill,

  Golden, Albion, Holly Creek, Silver City, Glover, Oak Hill, Bryarly

  and Redland.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening

weather conditions.



If on or near Broken Bow Lake, get out of the water and move indoors

or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles

from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close

enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be

caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
