...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN UNION COUNTY AND 

NORTHWESTERN UNION AND NORTHEASTERN CLAIBORNE PARISHES UNTIL 915 PM 

CDT...



At 829 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 

miles northeast of Cooley, or 10 miles east of Junction City, moving 

southwest at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.



Locations impacted include...

  Junction City, Bernice, Strong, Urbana, Cooley, Lawson, Lapile, 

  Spearsville, Lillie, Lockhart, Taylorville, Aurelle, Hillsboro, 

  Catesville, Oakland, New London and Shiloh.
