...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southern Seminole,

north central Pontotoc and northern Hughes Counties through 900 PM

CDT...



At 834 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from 3 miles north of Wetumka to 7 miles northeast

of Konawa. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Holdenville, Wewoka, Wetumka, Dustin, Francis, Sasakwa, Horntown,

Yeager, and Spaulding.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.
