...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CLAIBORNE AND

NORTHEASTERN UNION COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM EDT...



At 436 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11

miles south of Pruden, or 13 miles north of Maynardville, moving east

at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

New Tazewell, Tazewell, Springdale, and Sandlick.
