...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN TERRELL COUNTY

THROUGH 830 PM CDT...



At 801 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Terrell County Gas Plant

to 17 miles west of Pandale to 9 miles west of Pumpville to 17 miles

south of Dryden. Movement was east at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Dryden and Terrell County Gas Plant.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.

Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

shelter inside a building or vehicle.
