...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN VERNON PARISH IN WEST

CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND NORTHERN NEWTON COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM CDT...



At 835 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from 6 miles east of Hemphill to near Toledo Bend

Dam. Movement was southwest at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor 

         objects is possible.



Locations impacted include...

Toledo Bend Dam, Burkeville, Burr Ferry, Mayflower, Wiergate, and

Evans.
