NORTHWESTERN FORT BEND COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM CDT...



At 210 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from 7 miles east of Kurten to 11 miles southwest of

Bellville to near Hallettsville. Movement was east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

College Station, Sugar Land, Bryan, Conroe, Huntsville, Rosenberg,

Brenham, Katy, Richmond, Tomball, Wharton, Jersey Village, Navasota,

Sealy, Hempstead, Willis, Prairie View, Brookshire, Bellville, and

Columbus.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

stations and available television stations for additional information

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

southeastern Texas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in

effect until 700 AM CDT for southeastern Texas.
