...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL HARRIS COUNTY

THROUGH 830 PM CDT...



At 753 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Bellaire. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.

Bellaire, West University Place, Hunters Creek Village, Piney Point

Village, Greenway / Upper Kirby Area, University Place, Afton Oaks /

River Oaks Area, western Memorial Park, Neartown / Montrose,

Astrodome Area, Macgregor, Southside Place, Braeswood, Greater

Uptown, Medical Center Area, Willowbend, Hermann Park, Sharpstown,

Meyerland Area, and Gulfton.
