...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern Medina,

southeastern Caldwell, southeastern Guadalupe, northern Karnes,

eastern Zavala, Frio, Gonzales, Atascosa, southwestern Fayette,

northwestern Lavaca, Wilson and southeastern Bexar Counties through

145 AM CDT...



At 100 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from 10 miles southeast of Lockhart to 9 miles south

of Seguin to near Somerset to 7 miles west of Frio Town. Movement was

southeast at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.

Pleasanton, Pearsall, Gonzales, Floresville, Luling, Devine,

Jourdanton, Poteet, Poth, Shiner, Charlotte, Stockdale, Flatonia,

Moulton, Kosciusko, Nixon, St. Hedwig, Somerset, Elmendorf, and

Natalia.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for

south central Texas.
