...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Bandera,

southeastern Kerr, southwestern Kendall and northwestern Bexar

Counties through 1145 PM CDT...



At 1055 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Medina, moving east at 50 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Medina, Boerne, Bandera, Walnut Grove, Camp Verde, Bandera Falls,

Pipe Creek, Welfare, Nelson City, Kronkosky State Natural Area,

Lakehills, Government Canyon State Natural Area, San Geronimo, and

Lake Medina Shores.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for

south central Texas.
