Deep southwesterly flow ahead of an upper-level storm system will

promote windy to gusty conditions on Tuesday. Sustained west 

winds of 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 to 40 knots expected in 

the afternoon and evening. Peak winds will occur during the late 

afternoon and early evening. Winds fall below advisory criteria 

around midnight Tuesday night, but stay gusty into Wednesday

morning. Patchy blowing dust is possible late in the day with 

visibilities dropping as low as 3 SM.
