...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL RANDALL COUNTY

THROUGH 630 PM CDT...



At 558 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6

miles northwest of Mescalero Park, or 7 miles southwest of Amarillo,

moving south at 5 mph.



HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Amarillo and Mescalero Park.



This includes Interstate 27 between mile markers 114 and 123.
