At 1153 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong

thunderstorms along a line extending from Lockport to near Joliet.

Movement was northeast at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.

Preston Heights, Joliet, Crest Hill, Homer Glen, Rockdale, Orland

Park, New Lenox, Palos Park, Lemont, Crystal Lawns, Shorewood,

Lockport, Fairmont, Ingalls Park, Orland Hills, Palos Heights,

Romeoville, and Channahon.
