...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CASS...ST. JOSEPH...SOUTHWESTERN

BRANCH AND BERRIEN COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM EDT...



At 714 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from Stevensville to Centreville. Movement was east

at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Niles, Sturgis, Benton Harbor, St. Joseph, Three Rivers, Dowagiac,

Buchanan, Benton Heights, Fair Plain, Bridgman, Constantine, New

Buffalo, Berrien Springs, Cassopolis, Watervliet, Three Oaks, White

Pigeon, Coloma, Centreville, and Edwardsburg.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 196 between mile markers 0 and 5.

 Interstate 94 in Michigan between mile markers 0 and 42.
