...LIGHT FREEZING RAIN RESULTING IN SLIPPERY CONDITIONS THIS

EVENING...



Areas of light freezing rain, mixed with a little sleet, extended

from near Merrill and Tomahawk in Lincoln County, southward to 

Hamburg to Hogarty in Marathon County then eastward to near 

Antigo to near Hayes in northern Oconto County. The mixed

precipitation was moving southeast around 35 mph. 



Air and pavement temperatures are running at or slightly 

below freezing, thus a light glaze of ice can be expected 

this evening. If you are traveling, slow down and allow extra 

time to reach your destination. Black ice is hard to detect, 

especially at night.
