...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL SMITH...PHILLIPS

AND SOUTHWESTERN HARLAN COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM CDT...



At 626 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8

miles southeast of Woodruff, or 9 miles north of Phillipsburg, moving

northwest at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.
