DECATUR...SOUTHERN GRADY AND SOUTHWESTERN THOMAS COUNTIES THROUGH

1115 AM EDT/1015 AM CDT/...



At 1028 AM EDT/928 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong

thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles north of Quincy to

near Port St. Joe. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Lake Bradford, Rock Bluff, Tallahassee State College, Honeyville,

Jewel Fire Tower, Wakulla Springs, Vilas, Florence, Chipola Cutoff,

Florida State University, Orange, South City, Laingkat, Calvary,

Medart, Kern, Quincy Airport, Lowry, Nixon Garden, and Bloxham.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

stations and available television stations for additional information

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 PM EDT/500 PM CDT/ for

Big Bend and the Panhandle of Florida...and south central and

southwestern Georgia.
