DURHAM AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM EDT...



At 1242 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line

extending from near Littleton to Wake Forest to 9 miles southwest of

Carrboro. Movement was northeast at 70 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Kittrell, Medoc Mountain State Park, Gillburg, Parkwood, Bahama, Kerr

Lake, Wake Forest, Lake Butner, Stovall, and Dabney.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
