...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN ST. LUCIE AND NORTHERN 

MARTIN COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM EDT...



At 322 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Tradition, or near Port Saint Lucie. This thunderstorm was nearly 

stationary. Additional strong storms were developing across north 

Martin County with slow movement.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Port Saint Lucie, Walton, Stuart, White City, and Jensen Beach.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. 

Seek safe shelter inside a sturdy building or hard-topped vehicle.

Remember, lightning can strike beyond 10 miles away from a

thunderstorm. When thunder roars, go indoors!
