...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN HENDERSON...

NORTHEASTERN GREENVILLE AND NORTHWESTERN SPARTANBURG COUNTIES THROUGH

515 PM EDT...



At 428 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11

miles south of Hendersonville, or 4 miles north of Pleasant Ridge

State Park, moving southeast at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Campobello, Tigerville, Pleasant Ridge State Park, Lake Robinson,

Flat Rock, Jones Gap State Park, Lake Bowen, Gowensville, Tuxedo, and

North Saluda Reservoir.
