...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL ELBERT...SOUTH CENTRAL

ANDERSON AND SOUTHWESTERN ABBEVILLE COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...



At 401 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9

miles northeast of Elberton, or near Russell State Park, moving

northeast at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Starr, Russell State Park, Ruckersville, Lowndesville, Rock Branch,

Iva, Middleton, Lake Secession, Elberton, and Lake Russell.
