...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PICKENS AND EAST

CENTRAL OCONEE COUNTIES THROUGH 230 PM EDT...



At 158 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4

miles northwest of Clemson. This storm was nearly stationary.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Clemson, Seneca, Central, Six Mile, Lake Keowee, and Norris.
