...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Paulding,

northeastern Haralson, northeastern Carroll and northwestern Douglas

Counties through 545 PM EDT...



At 500 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over New Georgia, or near

Dallas, moving south at 10 mph.



HAZARD...40 mph wind and heavy rain.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of 

         light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary 

         street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.



Locations impacted include...

Douglasville, Dallas, Buchanan, Villa Rica, Powder Springs, Temple,

Hiram, Yorkville, Brownsville, Bill Arp, Draketown, Winston, Lake

Val-Do-Mar, and New Georgia.

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. Motorists should

slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
