...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Chattahoochee and

central Stewart Counties through 1215 AM EDT...



At 1140 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a

strong thunderstorm near Providence Canyon State Park, or 9 miles

west of Lumpkin, moving northeast at 65 mph.



HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind and increased chance of a brief tornado.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...While winds should result in minor damage to tree limbs and 

         blowing around of light, unsecured objects, this storm has 

         also exhibited localized rotation. A brief tornado could 

         quickly form.



Locations impacted include...

Charles, Cusseta, Christopher, Sanford, Jamestown/South Fort Benning,

Brooklyn, Renfroe, Louvale, Manta, and Providence Canyon State Park.
