...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern Warren,

north central Hancock, northeastern Greene, Taliaferro, Wilkes and

southeastern Oglethorpe Counties through 700 PM EDT...



At 612 PM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line

extending from 6 miles east of Lexington to Springfield, and moving

east at 35 mph.



HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind and heavy rain.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of 

         light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary 

         street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Delhi, Sharon, Washington, Holliday Park, Norwood, Newtown, Danburg,

Lyneville, Carters Grove, Jacksons Crossroads, Ficklin, Cadley,

Mallorysville, Crawfordville, Lundberg, Robinson, Metasville, Daniel

Springs, Floral Hill, and Aonia.

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. Motorists should

slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
