...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern Calhoun,

Lexington, northeastern Aiken and western Richland Counties through

530 PM EDT...



At 457 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from near Highway 6 at Lake Murray Dam to 12 miles

northeast of Aiken State Park. Movement was east at 40 mph.



...Boaters on Lake Murray Should Seek Safe Harbor... 



HAZARD...Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.

Arcadia Lakes, Cayce, Bundrick Island, Putnam's Landing, Irmo, St.

Andrews, Lexington, Cayce Riverwalk, Columbia International

University, Pine Ridge, Cedar Creek Fire Station, Dixiana, Cedar Pond

Campground, Harbison State Forest, Blythewood, Seven Oaks, Olympia,

Dentsville, Lake Murray Marina, and Oak Grove.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 126 between mile markers 0 and 3.

 Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 41 and 79.

 Interstate 26 between mile markers 96 and 129.

 Interstate 77 between mile markers 0 and 29.
