...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 100 AM MDT

FOR NORTHERN LIBERTY...NORTHEASTERN TOOLE AND NORTHWESTERN HILL

COUNTIES...



At 1138 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 32 miles east of Sunburst to 18 miles northwest of

Joplin to 6 miles west of Chester, moving east at 20 mph.



HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 1130 PM MDT a mesonet station 9 

         miles north of Lothair recored a 59 MPH wind gust.



IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 

         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Whitlash.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
