...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM CDT FOR CENTRAL

SEQUATCHIE AND NORTHEASTERN MARION COUNTIES...



At 110 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

was located near Whitwell, or 13 miles north of Jasper, moving east

at 40 mph.



HAZARD...Tornado.



SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 

         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 

         likely.



This dangerous storm will be near...

  Dunlap around 120 AM CDT.



Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include

Chimneys State Park, Cartwright, Griffith Creek, and North

Chickamauga Creek Gorge.

floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
