FOR CHOCTAW...NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON...NORTHWESTERN CLARKE...

NORTHEASTERN PERRY...EASTERN WAYNE AND NORTHERN GREENE COUNTIES...



At 738 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 5 miles northwest of Putnam to 5 miles southwest of

Beaumont, moving east at 15 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Gilbertown, Toxey, State Line, Clara, Silas, Coffeeville, Millry,

Waynesboro, Butler, and Buckatunna.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for southwestern

Alabama...and southeastern Mississippi.



Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly

from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the

basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
