The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out 

of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for northeastern

Alabama.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 AM CDT FOR EAST

CENTRAL DEKALB COUNTY...



At 210 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

was located over Sylvania, or over Rainsville, moving east at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Tornado.



SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 

         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 

         likely.



This dangerous storm will be near...

  Fort Payne, Rainsville, and Sylvania around 215 AM CDT.



Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Pine

Ridge, Desoto State Park, Valley Head, Mentone, Hammondville, and

Little River Canyon NP.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
