...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM CDT

FOR MOORE...SOUTHEASTERN LINCOLN AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES...



At 1223 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from near Tullahoma to near Tims Ford Lake to 6 miles west

of Huntland, moving east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Huntland, Elora, Hurdlow, Lynchburg, Maxwell, St. Andrews, Smithland,

Tims Ford Lake, Beans Creek, and Woods Reservoir.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for north central

Alabama...and Middle Tennessee.



Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly

from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the

basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.



For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.
