...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM CDT

FOR SOUTH CENTRAL STANLEY AND WEST CENTRAL HUGHES COUNTIES...



At 733 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Chantier Creek

Recreation Area, or 9 miles northwest of Fort Pierre, moving

southeast at 25 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

  Lake Sharpe, Fort Pierre, West Shore Rec Area and Pierre.
