FOR WAYNE...SAMPSON...SOUTHEASTERN HARNETT...EASTERN CUMBERLAND...

WILSON AND JOHNSTON COUNTIES...



At 253 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 8 miles southwest of Clayton to Benson to 7 miles

southeast of Dunn to 14 miles northeast of Jerome to Duart, moving

east at 50 mph.



HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 

         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.



Locations impacted include...

Mar-Mac, Salemburg, Harrells, Seven Springs, Falcon, Selma,

Smithfield, Dunn, Kenly, and Buckhorn Reservoir.
