...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM EDT

FOR NORTH CENTRAL CAMDEN...AND NORTHWESTERN CURRITUCK COUNTIES AND

THE SOUTH CENTRAL CITY OF CHESAPEAKE...



At 343 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Moyock, or 8

miles east of South Mills, moving northeast at 55 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.



This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north

central Camden, and northwestern Currituck Counties and the south

central City of Chesapeake, including the following locations...

Burnt Mills, Snowden, Tar Corner, Gregory, Sharon, Spences Corner,

Sligo, Lilly, Lambs Corner, and Maple.
