...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM EDT

FOR THE EASTERN CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH...



At 250 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 18 miles northeast of Princess Anne to 12 miles east

of Virginia Beach to 6 miles east of Back Bay, moving east at 60 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.



These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of the

eastern City of Virginia Beach, including the following locations...

Oceana, Rudee Heights, Sigma, Sandbridge Beach, North Virginia Beach,

Dam Neck, and Macons Corner.
