FOR ...THE SOUTHEASTERN CITY OF CHESAPEAKE AND THE CITY OF VIRGINIA

BEACH...



At 240 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 6 miles northeast of Princess Anne to near Virginia

Beach to near Back Bay, moving east at 60 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.



These severe storms will be near...

  Virginia Beach around 245 PM EDT.



Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Rudee

Heights, Mount Pleasant, Princess Anne Plaza, Sigma, Sandbridge

Beach, Oceana NAS, Munden, Macons Corner, Pungo, and Oceana.
