...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THURSDAY...



* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations 

  between 4 and 7 inches, with locally 8 inches possible on the 

  western-facing slopes above 2500 feet along and west of the 

  Allegheny Front. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. Visibility 

  one-quarter mile or less.



* WHERE...In Maryland, Western Garrett County. In West Virginia, 

  Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties.



* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Thursday.



* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel 

  treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery 

  road conditions. Widespread blowing snow could significantly 

  reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the 

  Thursday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree 

  branches.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Bursts of snow and squalls are expected 

  through late evening. Steady snow will continue through tonight 

  before gradually tapering off Thursday morning.

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
