At 616 PM AKDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong

thunderstorms near Sitka, moving northeast at 35 mph.



HAZARD...Heavy snow reducing visibility below 1/2 mile. 

         Southwest wind gusts up to 40 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.
