...BANDS OF MODERATE SNOW SHOWERS TO CONTINUE ACROSS THE 

ANCHORAGE BOWL THROUGH THE MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE...



Another round of snow showers is expected across the Anchorage

Bowl between 7 AM and 9 AM this morning. At 7am, a band of heavy

snow showers currently located near Bird Point is moving 

northwest towards Anchorage. These snow showers may be heavy at 

times, resulting in brief, but significant, reductions in 

visibility and snowfall rates around one inch per hour. The 

heaviest snow shower activity is likely across the Anchorage 

Hillside, South Anchorage, and West Anchorage.



Heavier snowfall may cause slippery road conditions. Visibilities

may be reduced in areas with heavier snow rates. Motorists are 

urged to slow down, turn on headlights, and use caution when 

driving.
