* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations up 

  to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.



* WHERE...Bering Strait Coast and Shishmaref.



* WHEN...Until 7 AM AKDT Friday.



* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. Areas of blowing snow could 

  reduce visibility to 1/2 mile or less at times.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of blowing snow and strong northerly 

  winds through early Friday. The Bering Strait Coast and especially 

  Brevig Mission may have periods of 1/4 mile visibility with 

  blowing snow.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce 

  visibility.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The worst conditions are expected along 

  ridgetops and summits where the strongest winds are expected. 

  Conditions improve at lower elevations, especially for areas not 

  vulnerable to winds from the north.
