...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM AKST THIS 

AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Freezing rain and rain. Ice accumulations around a light 

  glaze.



* WHERE...Seward Highway Corridor from Primrose north to Turnagain 

  Pass.



* WHEN...Until 1 PM AKST this afternoon.



* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. Be prepared for slippery 

  roads; watch your step if outside.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of light freezing rain will persist 

  along portions of the Seward Highway corridor this morning as 

  temperatures remain around freezing. Temperatures are expected to 

  climb into the mid 30s starting around noon. However, surface 

  temperatures may remain at or below freezing, allowing any 

  additional light rain to freeze on cold surfaces. The 

  precipitation is expected to be light and showery in nature, with 

  only a trace to a few hundredths of an inch of accumulation at 

  most.
