The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Northwestern McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma...



* Until 300 PM CDT.



* At 222 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 21 miles 

  northwest of Idabel, or 37 miles north of Clarksville, moving 

  northeast at 15 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind

           damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Wright City, Valliant, Slim, Rufe and Ringold.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from 

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large 

hail.



Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
