The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Northeastern Terrell County in southwestern Texas...



* Until 700 PM CDT.



* At 557 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 20 miles west of

  Terrell County Gas Plant, or 20 miles northeast of Sanderson,

  moving east at 20 mph.



  HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 

           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 

           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 

           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.



* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of

  northeastern Terrell County near FM 2400 and State Highway 349.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.



Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
