  West central Pecos County in southwestern Texas...

  Eastern Jeff Davis County in southwestern Texas...



* Until 300 PM CDT.



* At 216 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 23 miles southeast

  of Balmorhea Lake, or 29 miles northeast of Alpine, moving east at

  40 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.
