  Southern Macoupin County in southwestern Illinois...

  Northeastern Madison County in southwestern Illinois...



* Until 700 PM CDT.



* At 608 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Dorsey, or

  near Bethalto, moving east at 40 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to

           roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  East Alton, Wood River, Bethalto, Dorsey, Bunker Hill, Prairietown,

  Carpenter, Worden, Wilsonville, Mount Clare, Staunton, Sawyerville,

  Benld, Livingston, Alhambra, Eagarville and Mount Olive.



This includes Interstate 55 in Illinois between exits 30 and 44.
