The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Northeastern Mercer County in northwestern Illinois...

  Henry County in northwestern Illinois...



* Until 630 PM CDT.



* At 542 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lynn Center,

  or 10 miles west of Cambridge, moving east at 45 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Kewanee, Cambridge, Geneseo, Colona, Galva, Orion, Atkinson,

  Annawan, Andover, Hooppole, Warner, Lynn Center, Cable, Osco,

  Bishop Hill, Henry County Fairgrounds, Ophiem, German Corner, Sunny

  Hill, and Nekoma.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 9 and 35.

 Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 13 and 29.
