The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Southern Cedar County in east central Iowa...

  Northwestern Muscatine County in east central Iowa...



* Until 500 PM CDT.



* At 425 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from near Herbert Hoover National Historic Site to near

  Muscatine County Fairgrounds, moving east at 45 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  West Branch, West Liberty, Wilton, Atalissa, Rochester, Springdale,

  Cedar Valley Park, Herbert Hoover National Historic Site, Muscatine

  County Fairgrounds, and Moscow.



This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 254 and 273.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
